WHEN TO USE THE NS-SL CONNECTOR
The NS-SL connector can be used for all connections between lines and hardware. For example, where you normally use a lashing it is smarter to use the NS-SL connector.
A lashing connection can not secured and is not approved for a certain breakload. Usually a lot of lashings are required to guarantee the desired breakload. All NS-SL connectors have an SYNthLOCk™ Locking device for blocking/ securing movement for the Equiplite Synthetic quick loop. An approved factory certified breakload, a single NS-SL connector with the desired breakload will suffice and Locke/ secured improve on the safety aspects.
